RoMan Impedance Meter

RoMan

RoMan's portable impedance meter features a variable low-voltage power source that measures tip-to-tip impedance of:

  • Single phase AC resistance welding machines
  • Portable Guns
  • Transguns (with or without transformers)
  • Kickless cables

Principle of Operation

The Impedance Master IM-91 with its variable low voltage 60 Hertz power source, is capable of driving a test current through the impedance of a resistance welding circuit.

The Impedance Master IM-91 measures the current, voltage and zero cross over of the two values, and calculates the impedance (Z), resistance (R), and the inductive reactance (XL).

Features

  • 6 Foot Current and Voltage Leads to provide access to resistance welding circuits in large tooling
  • Portable
  • Ease of Operation
  • Easy to read with large LED readouts
  • Easy current and voltage lead connection
  • Direct readout in Micro Ohms
  • Rugged Device
  • RS232 Serial Printer Port
